Hoofers London Tap Dance is a Brand New tap dance company based in the heart of London, specializing in a diverse range of classes and bespoke experiences for dancers of all levels. Our passionate team of experienced West End instructors is committed to creating a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment where everyone can learn, grow, and enjoy the art of tap dancing. We take pride in delivering top-quality training with guaranteed results, ensuring each dancer’s journey is both rewarding and inspiring.​
Our Story
Founded in 2025 by Emile Ruddock, Hoofers London Tap Dance was born out of a desire to offer something different — a fresh, exciting way to experience dance. With his deep-rooted passion, extensive history, and expertise in tap, Emile set out to create a community where everyone can explore their rhythm and express themselves through this vibrant art form.

Founder & Tap Instructor
Teaching Experience: Tap Tutor at Arts Educational Schools London, London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Regular teacher at Pineapple Dance Studios. Various Workshops and classes taught at Danceworks, Urdang Academy, Body Work Cambridge, Dance Attic and University of Wolverhampton.
Theatre includes: Hamilton as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison (Victoria Palace Theatre), Me and My Girl as Constable (Chichester Festival Theatre), RAF’S 100th Anniversary Royal Gala as Eat Moe from ‘Five Guys Named Moe’ (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), The Rhythm Method as Johnny (The Bush/Landor Theatre), Five Guys Named Moe as Eat Moe (Marble Arch Theatre), Crazy For You as Custus/Drummer (Watermill Theatre), Kiss Me Kate as Philip/Swing/Cover Paul (UK Tour), The Scottsboro Boys as Willie Roberson (Garrick Theatre and Young Vic Theatre), Avenue Q as Gary Coleman (Rugby Theatre), 42nd Street Gala (London Palladium and Dominion Theatre), 42nd Street as Billy Lawlor and Crazy for You as Bobby Child (Rugby Theatre).
